Your desk data stays yours

A short policy for a collections SaaS. No scare tactics — and no selling PII.

• Who we areOwedly is a collections desk SaaS (buyer desk, Resolve, Collect Exchange, Chargeback Hub). This policy covers the owedly-buyer web app and related APIs.
• What we collectAccount and desk data you place or upload (names, balances, contact points, notes, letters, payment metadata), auth identity (email/session), billing posture and credit-ledger events, waitlist emails, and basic product telemetry/error reports. We do not ask for SSN or full payment-card PAN on marketing or guest surfaces.
• How we use itTo run your desk, route Agency in a Box agents, apply the compliance gate, meter credits, process placements and payments through connected processors, and improve reliability. Desk data is for operating Owedly — not for an advertising profile.
• We do not sell PIIWe do not sell personal information. We do not rent consumer or debtor lists. Processors and infrastructure vendors (auth, database, hosting, payments) see only what they need to provide the service under their own terms.
• Security (high level)Data in transit uses TLS. Data at rest relies on our cloud providers’ encryption. Access to desk routes is session-gated. We still expect you to protect your login and limit who you invite to a desk.
• RetentionWe keep desk and ledger records as long as your account needs them for collections operations and legal holds you request. You may ask us to close a desk; some logs may remain for security and dispute resolution.
• Your choicesUpdate profile data in-product where available, clear a file when the product allows, or contact us to request access or deletion subject to law and legitimate retention needs.
